'Tis the Season

It's not even Thanksgiving and I've already put my tree up! Crazy, I know but it was really the only time I could do it. I went a little overboard this year with two trees but I love the way my house feels--so warm and cozy! And now I can enjoy the decorations a little longer than a month :)

Happy Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year! And I love decorating my mantel so of course I had to change it up for fall and Halloween. First I did a fall set up but I couldn't wait until October 1st to add my Halloween decor. I found some pumpkins at Target's one spot and added a little something to spruce it up a bit. Super easy!

 Original Pumpkin

 Use painters tape and tape along the black.

 Apply tacky glue to the area inside of the tape

 Cover glue with glitter.

 Remove tape.

Voila, glittered pumpkins!
