Floral and Girly Big Girl Room

This project took a little longer than I expected but I'm so happy with the result. I couldn't find any bedding that I loved enough for my daughters room. I didn't want to paint and I wanted to keep her black furniture from her nursery, along with some wall hangings and lamps so I needed to find something that incorporated all those colors. I found one option but it was unavailable so I decided if I can't find what I want, I'm just going to make it. B had this Matilda Jane Platinum top that I fell in love with and it dawned on me that I should try and use that as inspiration for her room. So using her top inspiration I decorated a floral and girly room for my daughter. I added a lot of little personal touches and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects. Scanning the aisles of Micheal's can sometimes be a dangerous thing ;)

PLAY ROOM Reno

I redid B's play room while she was away. This room never was really decorated and once it became a play room, I never thought I'd ever get around to decorating it until I found a blue chevron rug that just pulled the space together. Once I bought that I saw a theme forming...pinks and blues...and I was on my way.

While preparing for my daughter's 3rd birthday I discovered Mod Podge and became obsessed! I thought doing mod podge letters would be perfect for the space. It took quite some time but I'm super happy with how it tuned out!
